We are delighted to announce that for a second successive year Ultimate Fitness have joined us again as a Friend of the Community for the 2020/2021 season.
Shrewsbury Town in the Community will be teaming up with local fitness guru Simon Macdonald and Ultimate Fitness to help promote fitness and wellbeing across Shropshire.
Along with signing up to our Friends of the Community Scheme, Ultimate Fitness will also bring Fit Fest to the Mercedes-Benz Football Hub in 2021. The event will be a day filled with fitness and activity for all the family with live training sessions, workshops, seminars and more to allow you to discover the best fitness brands in Shropshire.
We are also delighted to reveal that the ShrewsAbility Run will be returning for 2021, with all proceeds being donated to our Inclusive Sport projects. The 2020 edition of the event helped to raise over £700 and featured a special appearance by Shrewsbury Town star and STITC Trustee, Dave Edwards.
Speaking about the continuation of the partnership, Ultimate Fitness owner, Simon Macdonald said “It’s great to be able to support such an important charity as Shrewsbury Town in the Community, especially during these trying times. Our aims at Ultimate Fitness are to help everyone achieve their fitness goals and by working closer with in the community we feel we can help contribute towards that.”
