Shrewsbury Town in the Community are delighted to announce the launch of a series of Coach Development Workshops in collaboration with Shrewsbury Town Academy.

Rob Williams, Head of Coaching at Shrewsbury Town’s academy will be delivering three workshops across Shropshire in November & December which will see a one hour practical session on the  ‘in possession topic’ linked to the Shrewsbury Town Academy Philosophy & Values. This will be followed by a Q & A Session allowing you to pick up some extra tips and develop some more ideas along the way. Each event will provide a range of tasks and discussion points aimed at coaches with a wide range of experiences in Junior Grassroots Football, Schools Football Teams or coaches with a passion to improve their knowledge around the beautiful game.

Rob has a wealth of experience and has been in post at Shrewsbury Town since September 2019 having previously held a similar role at Walsall FC alongside tutoring & mentoring roles with the FA.
