With a Halloween twist, young players in Shrewsbury and Ludlow are in for a treat (and maybe a few tricks) as they sharpen their soccer skills in a fun and festive environment this Halloween!
The Soccer Schools will take place at two venues this year, the The Croud Meadow in Shrewsbury and Ludlow Football Stadium, where young witches, wizards, ghouls and goblins aged 5 to 12 can learn to dribble, pass, and shoot under the watchful eyes of experienced coaches. The sessions promise not just to develop footballing talent but also to provide an eerie-sistible atmosphere filled with Halloween-themed games and challenges.
“We’re excited to bring back our Soccer Schools this October with a special Halloween theme,” said Simon Tisdale, the Foundation’s Primary Education Manager. “It’s a wonderful way for children to stay active during the break, make new friends, and enjoy the magic of Halloween in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.”
With our early bird offer, parents are encouraged to sign up their little monsters soon, as spaces are limited and expected to fill up quickly. The Soccer Schools run from 28th October to 25th to 1st November in Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Each session runs from 9am to 3pm, with lunch and break times built in for a full day of fun. Please note, we ask players to bring a packed lunch with them!
