On Friday 26th April, Shrewsbury Town in the Community invited their Partners to an exclusive ‘money can’t buy’ breakfast meeting at Shrewsbury Town’s new training ground facility.
The event was hosted to celebrate the ‘Friends of the Community’ partnership scheme being launched a year ago.
Those that attended the event were given an opportunity to network, take a tour of the facility as well as hear STITC updates from Trustee Nick Jones and Head of Community Jamie Edwards.
Shrewsbury Town Manager Paul Hurst and several first team players including Matt Sadler, Omar Beckles and Craig MacGillivray were also at the event speaking to partners and taking photos.
Speaking about the event, Head of Community Jamie Edwards said; ‘The Friends of the Community’ partnership is vital to the charity, bringing in unrestricted funds that help support the large amount of projects we deliver across Shropshire. The event is a great way for us to say thank you to our partners for their support over the past year.’
