Our Playground Stars shone bright at our primary schools festival!
To celebrate pupil’s achievements on the Playground Stars programme, we welcomed them to a fun filled festival on the foundation’s 3G pitch. Upon arrival, the attendees received their medals which came in bronze, silver, and gold to mark their progress, followed by a series of activities on the pitch.
In each corner of the pitch, children got involved in a number of sport themed challenges coordinated by the Stars. The activities included relay racing, tennis, and golf to name a few! Through the Playground Stars programme, pupils have been taught the key areas to highlight when engaging and leading sessions. From making them inclusive to demonstrating the session, the programme has enabled them to be stars on the playground!
Joining in on the fun with his new 2024/25 season shirt was Blue the Lion, helping out in the sessions and keeping children motivated.
