Shrewsbury Town superfan Paul has once again lit up the town – and the hearts of the community – with his incredible Christmas lights display.
This year, Paul’s dazzling efforts raised an impressive £943.15 for Shrewsbury Town Foundation, bringing his total fundraising contribution over three years to a remarkable £2,992.04.
Despite facing the challenge of a shoulder injury, Paul’s dedication never wavered. Starting in October, he worked tirelessly to assemble his magical display, adding touches of sparkle each day. It was a family affair, with his sons lending a helping hand to ensure the lights shone as brightly as ever, continuing a heartwarming tradition that inspires the local community year after year.
To celebrate his fundraising we brought along Shrewsbury Town player George Lloyd to say thank you and to snap a photo of the occasion.
Paul’s lights display has become a cherished fixture of the holiday season, bringing joy to many while supporting the foundation’s mission to engage, develop, and inspire. The funds raised will go towards vital programmes that make a difference in people’s lives across Shropshire.
Thank you, Paul, for your incredible efforts and commitment. Your passion and generosity light the way for us all!
