Our new Lockdown Challenge encourages children to help support, connect and inspire our local community. We’re setting our community the task of completing our three challenges this lockdown in order to WIN a Challenge Yourself Medal and a Shrewsbury Town Snood.
What does the Lockdown Challenge Involve?
Our Lockdown Challenge is split into three sections, Support, Connect and Inspire.
Support – Our support section is all about helping out at home and supporting parents, guardians and family where possible.
Connect – Here we would like you make a phone call, write a letter or have a chat over a garden gate with family members, relatives, friends or neighbours. We want you to stay connected with your community by checking in on others.
Inspire – Inspire others by challenging yourself to raise money for a great cause. You may challenge yourself to run or walk 3km a day, you might challenge yourself to climb the Stiperstones on your stairs or even challenge yourself to ‘give something up until lockdown ends’. Your challenge is entirely down to you!
How Do I Take Part?
Our Lockdown Challenge is £10 to enter, and can be purchased on our Shrewsbury Town in the Community Shop. The money raised by this challenge will directly benefit our Heads Up programme; supporting those suffering from poor mental health in Shropshire.
Once you have entered you will be sent your Lockdown Challenge activity pack that will contain all the information and resources you need to take part. On completion of the challenge and as a thank you from us, each participant will receive a ‘Challenge Yourself 2020’ medal and Shrewsbury Town in the Community snood.
For more information on any of the above please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team on [email protected].
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
