We were delighted to welcome Rueben Hobden as Shrewsbury Town in the Community’s first mascot for the first game of the League One season on Saturday!
Reuben is a passionate Shrewsbury Town supporter, who plays for Admaston Juniors. He also loves pop music, and in particular The Vamps.
He wants to be a footballer when he grows up, and fulfil his dream of playing for Shrewsbury Town!
Reuben’s affiliation with Shrewsbury Town goes way back, with his grandfather Bob Hobden working in the club shop for over 10 years, and would have been proud to see his grandson stepping out onto the pitch on Saturday!
Reuben loved meeting the Shrewsbury Town players at the weekend, including his favourite stars Shaun Whalley and Dean Henderson!
