Hi everyone,

Welcome back to the Montgomery waters meadow for our first fixture of the 2018/2019 season against Bradford City! Everyone at the football club has been hard at work getting ready for this game, with John Askey and his team working hard behind the scenes to have the squad ready to build on the success of last season!

I would like to welcome all of the new players who have strengthened an already successful squad, as well as a warm welcome to John Askey, John Filan and his coaching team!

We go into this game knowing Bradford are a strong side, with them holding us to a 0-0 at their stadium last time. I don’t know about you but I think this should be a good game. I think it will be a tight game, and will hopefully see Shrewsbury win it 1-0 with the goal coming from Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
