Everyone at Shrewsbury Town in the Community would like to give a big thanks to England International and former Shrewsbury Town star, Joe Hart for taking part in one of our live lessons earlier today.
The goalkeeper, who was born in Shrewsbury and came through the Salop academy system ,joined participants from Severndale Specialist Academy for a special live PE lesson and took the time to answer questions from the children as well as giving his own top-tips and coaching points for various parts of the session.
The live lesson was part of our ongoing effort to ensure our local community remains supported at this time, through a range of live lessons, both public, and privately for schools, talks on mental health, and coffee mornings for Over 55s along with the launch of our new Shrews Family initiative which has seen over 500 phone-calls being made to vulnerable supporters and community participants over the past few weeks.
