As a successful business, run exclusively by a team of women, Monks Estate and Letting Agents in Shrewsbury are extending their support to aspiring local females passionate about football, through collaboration with Shrewsbury Town Football Club’s official charity partner, Shrewsbury Town in the Community.
Investing in the development of the female football provision in the County, Monks have partnered with the charity to provide 12 months of sponsorship to enable more girls and women to develop and achieve their potential in the sport.
Aiding the many initiatives that Shrewsbury Town in the Community manages for females aged from 5 years old, through to adulthood, Monks’ input and support will help to ensure the on-going success and expansion of projects such as: The Girls Regional Talent Club, the expansion of the SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centres and the schools based Premier League Girls.
Jamie Edwards, Head of Community at Shrewsbury Town in the Community, comments:
“We are pleased to welcome Monks into our Friends of the Community Scheme and are very grateful for their support. It is an exciting time for the charity with lots planned for the future of female football in the County, so to have Monks actively helping us to grow existing projects and aid in the development of new initiatives is fantastic.”
Looking forward to working with Jamie and the team, Monks Director Judy Bourne concludes:
“We are very proud to be a part of the Friends of the Community Scheme. As an ambitious all-female operation ourselves, aiding other girls and women to achieve their full potential is something that is important to us at Monks.”
