As part of our Community Day taking place on Saturday 7th March, Shrewsbury Town in the Community will be hosting a free teacher CPD event for primary school teachers.
The event will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Football Hub and will provide teachers with the opportunity to network with other schools and find out how Shrewsbury Town in the Community can aid with up-skilling staff to help deliver better quality PE, sharing ideas and experiences.
In addition to this Shrewsbury Town in the Community schools staff will be on hand to answer any questions teachers may have surrounding the different activities which Shrewsbury Town in the Community can offer. This could include examples of how Premier League Primary Stars could benefit your school, allowing targeted interventions and a full programme of delivery, or even simply a workshop or visit with the school, bringing core-curriculum delivery to life using the power of sport to engage pupils.
All teachers attending will be allocated 2 free tickets to the afternoon’s League One fixture as Shrewsbury Town take on Oxford United.
