Shrewsbury Town in the Community is delighted to reveal our free PL Kicks 5-a-side league will be starting at the Mercedes-Benz Football Hub in Meole Brace from Tuesday 19th November!

The first two weeks will allow participants to organise themselves into teams and play friendly fixtures before the league table starting from Tuesday 3rd December.  Kick-Off times will range between 6pm – 7pm with games lasting for 20 minutes with a max squad size of 8. The league will be completely for free and is open to all aged 14-18.

Please note shin-pads must be worn. 

The league is part of our new PL Kicks project, which provides constructive activity to young people within Shropshire in areas where it is needed most. Alongside the league, sessions are also held on a Friday evening at The Grange Community Centre in Harlescott. Nationally PL Kicks sessions have been delivered to over 30,000 young people since the project first began and have been linked to helping lower anti-social behaviour and improving social cohesion in the areas where they are ran.
