This April, our staff will be taking on two incredible challenges—the London Marathon and the London Landmarks Half Marathon—to raise money for meaningful causes!
Determined to make a difference, staff from across Shrewsbury Town Foundation are heading to the capital to run in support of their chosen charities.
On 6th April, Charlotte, Darren, Dave, Louiza, Nicky and Trish will take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, while Joe is set to tackle the London Marathon on 27th April—an extra challenge and birthday celebration all in one!
The team has been training hard, taking part in Foundation sessions, playing sports, and completing their own workouts at home to prepare for race day.
“It’s fantastic to see the team taking on this challenge to support a variety of charities. We work closely with many of these organisations through our hub sessions and see firsthand the impact that fundraising has. We wish the team the best of luck and will be cheering them on all the way!”— Alex Burrows, Marketing & Communications Coordinator
