We’re seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team!

As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of STFC Foundation’s facilities.
We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring that facilities are well-presented and fit for purpose, and be able to work independently.
Start Date: December 2024
Closing Date for Applications: 12pm, Monday 11th November 2024
Working Hours: Fixed term contract – 25 hours a week.
(Core hours Monday to Friday – 17:00-22:00 with flexibility to cover weekends as required.)
Pay: Dependent on experience.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are met.
- Manage and maintain bookings for the facility (Pitches, classrooms and meeting rooms)
- Be responsible for the opening and closing of facilities.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on site.
- Complete tasks within the job description as coordinated by the Senior Facilities Officer.
STF are committed to ensuring safeguarding guidelines are met, therefore the successful applicant will be asked to carry out a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check free of charge.
First Aid qualification desirable or willingness to undertake training.
