We have a number of opportunities for experienced and suitably qualified candidates to join our Board of Trustees within the following areas of expertise:
- PR, Media & Marketing
- Delivering Sport & Education for individuals with a disability
- Monitoring & Evaluation (Impact & Performance)
- Health & Wellbeing
What does it mean to be a trustee for the foundation?
Shrewsbury Town Foundation is the official charity of Shrewsbury Town Football Club with a vision to engage, develop and inspire participants of all ages through a range of activities that we deliver across the community in:
- Health & Wellbeing
- Education & Employment
- Football & Participation
As a trustee, it is anticipated that you will commit 20 hours per year to:
- Attend Board meetings every 3 months.
- Attend at least 1 fundraising event per year.
- An ongoing commitment to Safeguarding, EDI and Sustainability.
- Provide strategic advice & guidance to working groups within your areas of expertise and to the Board of Trustees.
The role of trustee has a legal responsibility in a governance capacity in line with the objectives of the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation (Charity Number 1125101) and regulations set out by the Charities Commission For further information please visit:

Interview process:
Interviews are scheduled from week commencing 4th November.
Stage One: Informal discussion with Foundation Director and a select number of existing trustees (online or in person).
Stage Two: Meeting with Foundation Director and a select number of existing trustees (in person).
