Shrewsbury Town in the Community are excited to announce that they will be giving away one Shrewsbury Town mascot place as they take on newly promoted Premier League side, Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly at Montgomery Waters Meadow on Sunday, 21st July.
One child will be chosen to be a mascot, they will receive a behind the scenes tour, meet the players and get to walk out with the team before the game against the Championship Play-Off winners, making for an unforgettable experience.
Shrewsbury Town in the Community want this place to go to a child in Shropshire who is fully deserving of the experience, they are asking the community to nominate children (aged between 5-12 years) who they think deserve it most. This can be someone who is making a real difference within their school or club, someone who is achieving great things despite battling against adversity or someone who is realising their potential and achieving their goals in any way.
It is hoped that this will highlight the stories of those who are helping contribute to the local community and are making Shropshire a better place.
To enter simply complete this form outlining the person you want to nominate along with why they deserve it and contact details.
Nominations will close on Monday 1st July at 5pm.
