We are excited to unveil our Annual Review for 2020/2021!
Launching alongside our annual Gala Dinner, we have published our Annual Review for 2020/2021. This showcases what we have achieved over the past year, from sessions provided to how we have invested back into the organisation and the local community.
Over the past year we have faced many challenges due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, however this has made our commitment to supporting our participants even stronger. We have continued to create programmes that practice social distancing, whether that be doorstep visits or online fitness and wellbeing sessions, proving that even when we can’t carry out our usual activities we will find other ways to deliver to those who need us most.
Upon exiting lockdown, we welcomed our participants back to our sessions and have highlighted some of their stories in this year’s case studies. You’ll be able to read about Charlie, who we’ve met through our Partner Schools Programme, Ruben and James, who attend our DCD Sessions, and Roy, who participates in our Extra Time Sessions. Each have gone through amazing journeys and have impacted the community with their inspiring stories.
At a glance, our year in numbers:
- 109,8631 – Aggregate session attendees
- 47 – Projects provided
- £1,673,353 – Invested into Shropshire
- 16.3k – Hours of delivery
- £909,000 – Invested into our community facilities
